Here’s the reminder of how it works:

1.  I will post a trivia question with each item.  Answers that can be found in my archives.

2.  The first person to reply on THAT post for each question correct will win that particular prize.  There will obviously be multiple prizes each having it’s own trivia question from my archives.

3.  The contest will run through Tuesday December 16th at Midnight.  If there are questions unanswered at Noon on December 16th, I will start dropping hints every hour until all questions are answered.

4.  If any question is unanswered by midnight on December 16, I will use Random.org to pick a winner from all the wrong entries for that particular question and giveaway.

5.  I will notify the winner and the sponsor as soon as the trivia question is answered correctly that way the sponsors can possibly get your gift to you before Christmas.

6.  All winners will be notified for the final time on December 17th.  I do want you to know that the USPS  says that December 11th was the last day to mail to guarantee delivery before Christmas, so keep that in mind.

I’ve spent most of the week trying to prepare a website for local exposure.  I will have my site featured in the Life Styles of our local paper again.  This website is set up strictly for the parents, students and teachers in our community.  Well, all actuality, there’s two of them.

I’m celebrating and I’m trying to get as many people as possible to get involved.  In case you don’t know what it means to "de-lurk", I"m getting you the definition, right here and right now.

First of all, the definition of a lurker.

Lurker - A lurker is one who sits in an internet chat room, message base or newsgroup, but does not participate.

Thus, the definition of De-lurking is:

De-lurker - A lurker who makes a move to initiate contact and conversation in a place that they have formerly only lurked. 

Anyway, I’m trying to stir up enough folks to celebrate a day of "de-lurking" and I’m being selfish and using my own personal excitement to produce a button for the Day of Delurking which I have deemed to be Wednesday October 8.  So, come one, come all. 

I’d love to tell you that this gorgeous graphic has code in it and it is simple to embed in your own blog, but I don’t know how to write code.  So, if anyone wants to attempt it, please, by all means, go for it.  And, if you want to change it and make your own button and send it around the internet, that suits me just fine too.  All I want, is some folks to come out of hiding and let their VOICES BE HEARD (kind of like the presidential election but not exactly)

……………while I die.  This mono is putting me under the world.  I’m headed to nap with my 3-year-old this morning, like right now in 5 minutes. 

It is dreary outside, my  mom is getting a chemo treatment today which means she will be sick for the rest of the week.  And, I hate it for her. I can’t stand seeing her so sick.  And, to make matters worse, the boys beg to go see her and she simply isn’t able to deal with them. 

All I will hear out of their mouths all day and night will be "I WANNA GO SEE NANNY!"
